To provide holistic support to rural children and women, addressing their unique needs and challenges and empowering them to break the cycle of poverty and improve their socio-economic well-being, in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, 2, 4, and 6.

PHILOSOPHY AND STRATEGY

The Initiative seeks to alleviate the suffering of the less privileged by reducing Hunger and Poverty among children and women in the rural communities and she is committed to empowering the beneficiaries in areas of human capacity development, skill acquisition, establishment of small and medium scale businesses and provides funds for farming so they can be self-sufficient and able to afford basic needs of life. Igniting Hope Initiative aims to touch the lives of many indigent Children and Women in Nigeria and Africa through her programs and projects.

KEY PROGRAMS

  1. ESP – Educational Support Program

Scholarship and educational materials like books, pen, shoes, uniforms, school bags and school meal to encourage the children to go to school, thereby reducing the number of out of school children on the street.

  1. MHSP – Menstrual Hygiene & Sanitation Program

Menstrual Hygiene awareness campaigns, Free Sanitary Pad distribution to less privileged girls, women and provision of clean water through borehole drilling.

  1. EP – Empowerment Program

Skill acquisition trainings and tools for empowerment. Funds for petty traders and farmers to help alleviate poverty.

  1. FSP – Food Support Program

Distribution of food items to households to help alleviate hunger.
